Repair Patches

Surface preparation is essential for successful repairs. Sunblock, acetone or oil on boots and shoes could affect adhesion. For best results, apply Seam Grip alone or with Cotol-240 Cure Accelerator to speed up curing time up to two hours.

Adhesive Patches

These patches are ideal for those who don't wish to be waiting until they are back on the trail. Simply roughen the tube with the included scraper, then apply one of the self-adhesive patches and apply the patches.

Use the tube-scuffer for roughening the surface. This will help the glue stick. Spread a thin layer over the patch. Cover an area that is at least as big as the patch. Take a few moments for the glue to become tacky before pressing the patch into place and holding it firmly in the desired position.
