The Freo's impressive cleaning capabilities and a wide range of customization options make it a great choice for any home that needs a combination cleaner. However, the absence of advanced obstacle avoidance features and an attractive app dampened our enthusiasm for this model.

The first step to get the Freo running is a quick scan of your space that will help it map the area it will cover while cleaning. This process will take about one minute. Once the Freo knows where everything is it will be able to navigate more efficiently in subsequent cleanings.

Another great feature is Freo's ability to identify an area as mopping or dry vacuuming, so it's more efficient when switching between these functions. It's also smart enough to detect when its mop pads become dirty and will automatically return to the dock for refills before heading back out to wet clean hard surfaces.

The main strength of the Freo is its ability to vacuum and mop well on carpets.
