Chucky star Ed Gale 'harassed' people he thought were under-age teens with sexual text messages, they have claimed, after the Hollywood star was caught sexting with what he thought was a 14-year-old boy in a predator sting by YouTubers.

Police Department confirmed to DailyMail.com that it is investigating the 59-year-old star of movies such as Howard the Duck, Child's Play and Spaceballs, after he was caught in a filmed sting on April 14.

Several witnesses have since come forward to claim the Child's Play actor 'harassed' them with sexual texts when they were underage
A group calling themselves 'Creep Catcher Unit' posed as a 14-year-old boy online and allegedly received lewd texts from the 59-year-old actor, before confronting him on camera at his Hollywood apartment.
In videos filmed by Creep Catcher Unit (CC Unit) last month, Gale admitted there were several minors he had 'talked to sexually online', that they were 'all under 18'.

He said  here were 'Definitely no more than 10' of them'.
Since then, alleged creepy text conversations between the actor and young boys have been shared on social media.
An Instagram account called 'stop_ed_gale' posted several screenshots, claiming they were between Gale and boys aged between 12 and 14.
'Oh wow!

You are 12? Geez. You type sooo grown up and all mature,' Gale allegedly wrote in one message which the account posted on Instagram.
'Well in those pictures I was 11. I'm 12 now and turning 13 in like 2 months,' the boy replied.
'Where is your cute picture?' Gale allegedly wrote in another message with a boy the Instagram account claimed was a '12 year old child'.
'Look at my little man all grown up - Thank you for the video clip I will watch it for the rest of the day and night tonight.
